Funder

Some important public organizations ,which are currently funding research projects, have been included as an additional filter:
• The Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO)
• The Agency Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO)
• The European Commission (EC)

By using this filter, you automatically select all projects supported by funding programs managed by the respective organizations.

The Agency for Innovation by Science and Technology (IWT), which has been incorporated since 1 January 2016 in the new Agency  Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO), has not been included in the list of funders.The funding instruments managed by the IWT before 2016 have been assigned at the portal to the organization that has taken over the management, VLAIO or FWO, depending on the instrument.

The funding instruments of the Hercules Foundation (incorporated in the FWO on 1 January 2016) have been assigned to the FWO on the portal.
