Id:UG_3078

Ghent University

Too often the Renaissance is still regarded as a period during which there were few significant developments in science. The aim of the project is a re-evaluation, focused on the contribution of the Low Countries to the European Renaissance. The research will be external (forms of transmission and reception of knowledge) and internal (the developments in optics, cosmography and astronomy).
