Organisation profile:
Fundamental research with direct practical application in diverse fields of forensic odontology is performed. Mainly age estimation and uniqueness of the human dentition and teeth are studied.
In particular aspects of dental and skeletal age estimation based on radiographic and magnetic resonance imaging are considered. In addition, the research on the uniqueness of the dentition and the teeth is established in a function of bite mark analysis or human identification, respectively
