SEXPERI: Sexual health in Flanders.

Essential elements of good sexual health are equitable relationships and sexual fulfilment, with access to information and services to avoid the risk of unintended pregnancy, illness of dease. Sexual health requires a prositive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence. This implies that indicators of sexual health include physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing in addition to negative indicators such as SIIs, abortion, unwanted pregnancy, sexual abuse, and sexual concerns, problems, and dysfunctions. It also implies that sexual behaviour can occur under conditions that may either empower individuals' exercise of choice-e g, in case people or well-informed, respected, have free access to good services-or threat their sexual rights, e.g. in case of discriminations, stigma, abuse, coercion, fear and violence.
