Adoption daddy.

Purpose of this study is to inform Flemish adoptive fathers concerning specific aspects of socio-emotional development and possible socio-emotional developmental trajectories of adopted children, as well as concerning their paternal role with regard to these developmental domains. Information will be provided by a website and a flyer. The information that we plan to provide, is based upon knowledge and expertise we required in a series of studies upon socio-emotional development of children and parental development in general, and in case of adoption more particularly. Furthermore, we will translate scientific knowledge on the mentioned topics to adoptive fathers. This project forms part of a large study with regard to socio-emotional development of adopted children and their families (Leuven Adoption Study, LAS).
