Teleclassing: An Immersive Classroom Experience for Tele-education (R-1825)

Recently, several tele-presence solutions (Cisco, HP,...)for company environments, have become available on the marketplace. These solutions aim to give the opportunity to several people, spread out over different tele-presence locations, to communicate with each another while perceiving a face-to-face meeting. In this project it will be researched on how to expand the telepresence concept to much more complex environments like auditoria and classrooms. In such bigger and more complex spaces, one has to research the whole video and audio setup to see how a real life lesson/class experience can be simulated.
