Project

Electro-optical properties of organic semiconducting nanofibres (R-1226)

Aim of the project is a fundamental experimental and theoretical study on electro-optical assets of organic semi-conductive nano fibres, based on polyalkylthiofenes. The proposition aims a better insight in the relationship bewteen nanoscale morphology and the local and macroscopical electro-optical assets. More specific aims are a better interpretation of the subgap optical results, the relationship with the density of states, resulting from the electrical transport measurements and the relation to fibre morphology.
