Cost-effective vibroacoustic monitoring

The Cost-effective vibroacoustic monitoring project will attempt to prove the technical and economic feasibility of cost-effective vibroacoustic monitoring systems for continuous online condition and process monitoring of rotating machine elements in quasi-stationary conditions. The project will make use of new opportunities enabled by the advent of cost-effective sensors, like MEMS accelerometers, microphones, and microphone arrays, and cost-effective embedded platforms that in combination can provide an efficient solution for continuous monitoring.
