Neurological factors in predicting upper limb function and treatment response in children with unilateral cerebral palsy.

Therefore this project will specifically investigate in how far sensorimotor outcome (Objective 1), and treatment response (Objective 2) depend on:

  1.  the anatomical characterization of the brain lesion as identified by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  2. white-matter tract integrity as quantified by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and resting state functional MRI (rsfMRI)
  3. cortical reorganization as measured by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and mirror movements
