Project

Key biological processes involved in breast cancer invasion and metastases leading to residual disease after local therapy of breast tumors.

This study will provide needed insights into key regulators of early cellular invasion and dissemination and may aid , by discovering novel easily accessible liquid biomarkers, in identifying patients as risk for residual disease and subsequent metastasis. This study will open avenues to further direct the development of drugs targeting the metastatic process.
