National Crosscutting Suriname - Evidence-based professionalization of teachers and teachers trainers in Suriname.

Many teachers in Suriname at the level of VOJ (Voortgezet Onderwijs Junioren) and more specific MULO (Meer Uitgebreid Lager Onderwijs) are sometimes lacking proper qualifications. The purpose of this project is to train them with skills in the areas of: ICT in (distance) education, language in all courses, and special care in education. Appropriate training activities (like study visits, workshops, master classes) will be organised with relevant partners lead by IOL for both teachers and teacher trainers and scientifically monitored in view of sustainability and optimal impact.
