Project

An empirical bioethics approach on parenthood after medical assisted reproduction: a combined ethical and psychological approach to understand genetic and social parenthood

We will map the normative reasoning of all participants to medically assisted reproduction (would-be parent, gamete donors, offspring and medical staff) and use it as a basis to improve the normative system that guides the practice. an important part of the project will focus on the meaning of parenthood and the basis (genetic link or social relationship) on which parental rights and responsibilities are allocated.
