An in-depth muscle function assessment unit

This small research infrastructure will allow a detailed and accurate investigation of the muscle function in both elite athletes, healthy young and elderly. By synchronizing an isokinetic dynamometer with electromyography and motion analysis deeper insight will be provided into muscle force, power and adaptations through training programs as well as into the fundamental relationship between muscle activation and muscle mechanical properties.
