  • Research Expertise:The unit covers following research domains, on a national as well on international scale: determinants of health and disease, clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, occupational and environmental health, respiratory health, insurance medicine, priority health problems such as cancer (mainly screening, prevention, registration) and infectious diseases (mainly vaccine preventable infectious diseases and STI/HIV/AIDS); evaluation of vaccination, health care systems, health economics.
