The Development of On-line Monitoring and Process Control in Selective Laser Melting

My research mainly focuses on the development of on-line monitoring and process control in Selective Laser Melting.The melt pool behavior in different scan vectors and unconventional structures will be investigated. An image processing algorithm with high robustness will be developed and various characteristic parameters of the melt pool will be extracted. A systematic procedure will be conducted for the synthesis of a robust control system comprising multi-input multi-output modules. The selective laser melting process of some complex products will be conducted based on feedback control system.
