Experiments with Video Assistant Referees in football (VARs)

The main objective of the research project is to answer the question of whether the use of the VARs would improve the game. The analysis of this research will not only focus on refereeing but also on the impact of rviews of decisions on the gam itself, including the flow of the game and the reactions/emotions of players, coaches, spectators and other stakeholders to provide the IFAB with the broadest possible basis for their decision making.
