IOF mandate Faculty of Business Economics (BEW) 2019-2023 (R-9969)

Good academic research is the foundation for impactful innovation and valorization. The research of the faculty of Business Economics focuses on a number of spearhead domains. Several of these spearhead themes are closely linked to socio-economic challenges and opportunities in the region. Our faculty has expertise in (a.o.) Logistics, Data analytics & AI, Service marketing & customer behavior, Family firms, Entrepreneurship, Diversity & inclusion and Policy management & law economics. Within these diverse research domains, the faculty can proudly build on its relationships and short communication lines with leading figures in business and society in the region. These relationships create a gateway to implement our faculty's civic mission in a variety of valorization activities, stretching from short-term contract research to joint PhDs with industrial partners.
