Project

120 photos and 120 trades for orientation (R-6595)

The project builds on two learning tools developed in the course of former Leonardo da Vinci projects. The first tool, called 'Zoom2Choose', is an electronic professional orientation test. It helps a person to find out what professions fit his/her personality based on sets of pictures. The second tool, '100 job descriptions brought to life', combines professional orientation activities (getting to know different professions) with language education (mother tongue or a foreign language). The project results will consist of a set of educational resources freely available in French, German, English, Dutch, Latvian and Icelandic. The innovation the project brings is the combination of vocational training (getting to know 120 jobs) with language training (both mother tongue as a foreign language). The target groups are on the one hand experts in vocational training and language teachers. On the other hand, students and trainees can use the tools during their part-time learning career both autonomously and with guidance.
