Strategic analysis for West-Limburg (R-9817)

This study performs a socio-economic analysis of West-Limburg. This results in preconditions and a logic for profiling leverage projects that strengthen the socio-economic structure of the region. After a discussion of the methodology, Chapter 2 focuses on mapping and analysing the socio-economic, spatial and cultural context of West-Limburg. Based on these results, we work out a story for the future in Chapter 3, and we distil and define the preconditions and criteria for the (selection of) leverage projects. In Chapter 4, each leverage scenario is further developed as a mini-future story, rather than (star) projects that merely have a local impact.
