Targeting tumor microenvironment to counteract cancer progression

The tumor microenvironment (TME) dictates cancer progression. New therapeutic approaches with focus on TME represent an urgent medical need. The host lab acquired unique models of the TME and identified compounds that interfere with the TME. It’s my aim to use advanced preclinical models, pharmacologic and genetic tools to counteract cancer progression through targeting of the TME.
