Design of mm-wave architectures and circuits for radar and telecommunication

Design of mm-wave architectures and circuits for applications in radar and telecommunication. The use of millimeter-waves(30-300 GHz) enables high bandwidth (and thus high data rate) communication. Millimeter-waves are suitable for radar applications due to their small wavelength and their low attenuation by, for example, fog. The challenges while designing mm-wave integrated circuits are, among others, the power consumption and robustness of the circuit.
