Fractal analysis of slow-fast Van der Pol's equation and singular perturbation theory (R-11289)

The goal of the project is to study planar slow-fast systems using so-called box dimension approach. A prototypical example is the slow-fast Van der Pol's equation. We combine geometric singular perturbation theory, including the family blow-up, with the box dimension of orbits generated by the unit-time map attached to the equation. We also study elliptic, saddle and saddle-node bifurcations of any codimension.
