International Federation for the Sociolinguistic Study of the Languages of Spanish Migrants in France and in French-speaking Europe

The LAMIE federation (International Federation for the Sociolinguistic Study of the Languages of Spanish Migrants in France and in French-speaking Europe) brings together researchers interested in the study of the languages of Spanish immigrants and their descendants in France and in other French-speaking European countries. The Federation is supported by the University of Paris 8 under the responsibility of the LER (Laboratoire d'Études Romanes), co-supported by the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 University and the University of Lausanne. The University Lyon 2, the Antonio de Nebrija University, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona are associated as partners. All member universities of the Federation collaborate in the same way in the development of the scientific activity of the Federation.
