Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language (CNaVT)

The parties are jointly committed to the qualitative deepening of the certification of learners of Dutch as a Foreign Language. The collaboration focuses on the development and organization of scientific research substantiated language tests on the basis of which a recognized proof of linguistic performance on the levels A2, B1, B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Foreign Languages (CEFR) can be awarded. 1.2. The cooperation, as set out in this Agreement, has the following objectives. 1.2.1. Structural bundling of knowledge and expertise in the integrated testing of language skills in Dutch, for (a) qualitative certification of learners who learn Dutch as a Foreign Language and (b) further development in the field of integrated language testing and certification. 1.2.2. Structural bundling of knowledge and expertise regarding digital testing of language skills, incl. collecting and making this knowledge explicit and making it available to relevant parties within and outside the Dutch language area (including language institutes, test experts and test developers, academics, etc.) 1.2.3. Structural bundling of knowledge and expertise in the scientific analysis of the results of exam questions and items, in order to construct the exam and improve correction models and maintain the validity of the CNaVT exams to increase. 1.2.4. Come out together with a high quality and scientific substantiated exam package with high stakes Dutch exams, in order to achieve the civil effect of the exams (and the respective certificates) in Belgium and the Netherlands and expand it further.
