Innovative solutions to enhance digital meat processing (iMeat) (iMeat)

The aim of this project is to realize 3D multi-sensor imaging concepts to (inline) assess meat quality during meat processing. The intended prototypes will enable advanced automation in future meat processing systems. The integrated solutions will be a combination of sensors, based on 3D X-rays, spatially distributed spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging, coupled with advanced algorithms.
