Innervate fabrication concept (R-11674)

Spin-off project Innervate produces electronic circuits that stretch like rubber bands via an innovative approach of ultra-stretchable connections and off-the-shelf components. Next step in the realisation of Innervate is a further maturation via the first implementation of novel concepts for a low-volume manufacturing process. The operating budget for this Proof of Concept elaborates on earlier identified opportunities from previous Concept funding. The project revolves around 3 technical pillars: (1) accurate and repeatable production via custom tooling and selection/development of equipment, (2) first reliability tests within scope of the intended beachhead application, (3) proven relevance in the intended application domain (demonstrator). This funding poses as a valuable en necessary step towards the incorporation of Innervate and the realisation of its added value as a technology company.
