Project

Environment and health (VLOV133)

An important task of the Environment and Health Project that will implement the project in 2021 is to contribute to and coordinate with the work program of the European Horizon 2020 project HBM4EU (http://www.hbm4eu.eu/). Important tasks are: coordination and roll-out of the Flemish human Biomonitoring program in a European framework, performing non-suspect screening, development of biomarkers for exposure and effect, participatory process for policy translation of the obtained human biomonitoring results, ...

By aligning the consortium's work program with the HBM4EU work program, the transfer of both substantive scientific knowledge and European co-funding is maximized. A one-off project subsidy for the proposed Project Environment and Health for the year 2021 can further maximize the exchange of knowledge and European co-funding.
