Project

DWI4Manufacturing (R-12117)

Companies in the manufacturing, agri-food, process and biotech industries face similar challenges including a lack of technically skilled personnel, complexity of processes and increasing competition from abroad. For example, there is a recurring demand from these target groups to create and manage work instructions more easily. Digital work instructions (DWI) offer a solution to deal with all this complexity and support the operator in performing his work properly. In this project, a number of tools are developed that support companies in efficiently creating, using and maintaining DWI. This makes it easier to roll out DWI across the enterprise and to ensure the quality of their products, even with increasing complexity. In addition, it offers technology providers the opportunity to collaborate and better respond to the needs of end users.
