IOF Proof of concept project: Innervate 3D ultra-stretchable electronics low volume fabrication (R-11892)

Spin-off project Innervate manufactures electronic circuits that stretch like rubber bands through an innovative combination of ultra-stretchable connections and off-the-shelf components. The next step in maturing Innervate is to create a first implementation of novel concepts for the low volume production process. The means of this Proof of Concept project continue on earlier identified opportunities from prior Concept funding. The project revolves around 3 technical pillars: (1) accurate and reliable production via custom tooling and selection/development of machines, (2) first reliability tests within scope of the intended beachhead application, (3) proven relevance in the intended application domain (demonstrator). This funding forms a valuable and necessary step towards the incorporation of Innervate and the realisation of its added value as a technology company.
