Youth in transition: mental health in a challenging period.

We wil investigate two key aspects of transition psychiatry. First, we will use different, but complementary, methodological approaches to study the social environment of young people in the transition phase who are at different levels of risk for psychiatric problems. Second; we will study the barriers and potential levers in Flanders for mental health service used by adolescents and young adults, and the implementation of an optimal transition model from child & adolescent to adult services.
