Questioning the homogeneous morality of the comedias moralistas by J. Ruiz de Alarcón: a reconstruction of the moral heterogeneity of the Latin and Spanish hypotexts.

This research project will question the moral homogeneity of Alarcón's comedies by contrasting this aspect with the heterogeneous morality of his carefully selected sources. Our main purpose consists in gaining a profound insight into the development and specificity of Alarcón's morality through a thorough examination of the Latin ans spanish hypotexts, based upon Genette's hypertextual model.
