The social implications of transport: an accessibility perspective

There is a substantial body of fairly disparate studies, which have sought to make evident the role of transport (through accessibility) in enhancing or undermining social equity and exclusion, health, and quality of life. The aim of this project is to examine how person-based accessibility analyses may add to the current knowledge base about transport-related social exclusion.
