A Dual Process Motivational Model of Trust Restoration

In the present project, we examine: (1) to what extent a trust violation frustrates economic versus relational motives, (2) to what extent a violatorU+2019s efforts to restore trust impacts upon these motives, and (3) the neurological basis of trust restoration.
