Possessive patterns in Flemish varieties of Dutch

The research focusses on the expression of possession in Flemish and in particular the availability of what seems to be discontinuous possessor patterns with external possessor. The Flemish patterns will be compared with similar patterns of discontinuous possession in other languages as well as with other phenomena of discontinuous constituency in Flemish. The research background is that of formal syntax.
