Peroxisomes in mast cells – their functions and link to airway inflammation

This project will focus on peroxisomal functions and their involvement in inflammatory processes in the
context of chronic rhinosinusitis. The emphasis on the investigations will be put on the peroxisomes of mast
cells. The experiments will be done on human ex vivo nasal tissue and murine models.
