Study of the molecular pathogenesis of the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome
In this project a combination of biochemical and molecular techniques will be used to unravel the molecular basis and pathogenesis of several EDS subtypes. In particular the role of ZNF469 in the pathogenesis of EDS6 related phenotypes and its putative functional role in connective tissue biology will be explored.
