Study of the properties of the intrinsic points defects in monocrystalline germanium
This project aims to study the thermodynamic properties of the intrinsic point defects in Ge as, e.g., formation energy, thermal solubility, diffusivity and recombination probability. For that purpose we will make use of the "quenching" method, where the equilibrium concentrations of point defects at high temperature will be frozen by fast sample cooling
