Cognitive, emotional, and motivational processes in relation to depressive symptoms

Simultaneous influence of emotion and motivation on cognitive processing hasn’t been investigated in relation do depressive symptoms. This project is aimed to explore these influences in order to provide a better understanding of depression-linked cognitive biases and deficits. The project is also aimed to develop novel cognitive trainings in order to reduce biases and deficits and thus attenuate depressive symptoms.
