Parental fears and (over)protective parenting in the context of their child’s diabetes: a mixed-method approach

Parents of a child with diabetes have a burdensoms responsibility for diabetes management. The project aims at investigating (a) the impact of parental fears upon child outcomes and the possible bidirectional relationships, (b) the mediating role of parental behaviour in the impact of parental fears upon child outcomes and (c) resilience mechanisms buffering against the negative impact of parental fears.
