Development of predictive knowledge platform on tabletability

The most widely used dosage form of a drug is, the tablet-form because of the ease in mass production, storage, stability of the drug portion exist, the processing of the product and the ease in administration. However, developing a robust and time efficient tabletting process remains a challenge due to lack of fundamental knowledge in the tabletting process and the limited use of sophisticated process simulation techniques. With this project, Janssen Pharmaceutica aims to build a predictive knowledge platform for the development of the tabletting process.
