Lanthanide-containing polyoxometalates showing temperature-dependent emission colors: towards a new generation of anti-counterfeit materials.

Lanthanide-containing molybdenum-based polyoxometalates showing temperature-dependent luminescence colors will be developed. A small change in temperature causes the luminescence color to change from e.g. red to green. Incorporation of such compounds in security-inks will allow the development of a new generation of anti-counterfeit materials.
