The Attitude to Change in the Field of Fashion

Change is considered inherent to fashion by people in the industry and the academy. In the contemporary field of fashion change is rarely reflected upon. This project explores and aims to account for the convergences and/or divergences in the attitudes towards change in fashion by examining the views of cultural intermediaries of fashion. The project mainly addresses contemporary attitudes towards change in fashion (1945-2010)
