ECOsystem to leverage local FLEXibility from multi-energy and e-mobility assets for grid balancing and securing energy supply (ECOFLEX)

ECOFLEX is a fundamental/industrial research project in axis 3. It investigates how smart energy management of EV-charging infrastructure and of sustainable multi-energy communities can contribute to balancing of the grid and to security of supply. More specifically the overall goal of the project is to leverage this newly available controllable power in the grid (i.e. flexibility). The resulting value creation (economic and ecological) captured in the energy markets needs to flow back to society , and hence a complementary and fundamental market analysis is performed.
