Novel mechanisms of inflammation and cell death regulation in autoinflammatory and infectious diseases

Inflammatory reactions and cell death processes are central to our body's immune response.
Pathogen-driven and genetic defects in the regulation of these immune mechanisms are a major contributor to autoinflammatory and infectious diseases. In this project we want to map new regulatory mechanisms of inflammatory responses as a basis for the development of new molecular diagnostics and treatments of infections and autoinflammatory diseases.
