School Psychology and Development in Context

Research Unit

Lifecycle:1 Oct 1997 →  Today
Organisation profile:

The research unit School Psychology and Child and Adolescent Development  is dedicated to the study of child and adolescent development within schools and other social contexts, that is, family and peer systems. Our main aim is to gain more insight into developmental processes and the factors affecting them by conducting longitudinal research, intervention research, and experimental studies. In most of the studies conducted, a longitudinal design is employed and inter- and intra-individual changes in key variables are modelled and explained using advanced statistical techniques. Different age periods are targeted, varying from preschool to emergent adulthood.
