2015 Narsad Independent Investigator grant: Electrophysiological markers of reinforcement learning at baseline predict treatment outcome in major depressive disorder after accelerated theta burst stimulation of the DLPFC

In this Project, we would like to tackle an utmost important question or challenge in psychopathology and affective neuroscience nowadays (namely to assess whether specific EEG/ERP correlates of reinforcement learning could provide valid and reliable biomarkers of Anhedonia in colinically depressed patients, who are currently enrolled in an ambulatory psychiatric treatment study based on neurostimulation at the Ghent University Hospital), and eventually pursue carrying out cutting-edge experimental research in these two disciplines
