ADIPINJECT: Development for injectable temperature-responsive hydrogels for adipose tissue engineering (ADIPINJECT)

Injectable solutions for adipose tissue engineering have recently gained increasing attention among others by lipofilling procedures, breast constructions, wound treatment, ... With the aim to meet an urgenet need in the medical field, the present project aims at developing biomimetic, injectable temperature-responsive hydrogel building blocks suitable for adipose tissue regeneration. Biocompatible hydrogel building will be developed and be combined with autologous adipose-tissue derived stem cells.
