Project
Beyond Vision: The Influence of Auditory and Contextual Representations on Visual Working Memory
Until
recently,
it
was
assumed
that
information
that
is
temporarily
stored
in
working
memory
is
represented
in
a
visual
or
auditory
format.
Recent
research
has
given
rise
to
doubt
such
an
interpretation,
because
abstract
categorical,
as
well
as
other
non-U+2010relevant
objectproperties
are
stored
as
well.
The
current
project
will
study
how
non-U+2010visual
information
plays
a
role
in
visual
working
memory.
