BOF Sabbatical 2020-2021 - Pierre Van Mechelen.
During this sabbatical leave, I will work on the following work packages:
- update technical skill related to the analysis of experimental particle physics data;
- study advanced topics in theoretical particle physics (including standard-model (QCD) and beyond-the-standard-model optics (SUSY));
- develop ideas related to the analysis and interpretation of particle collisions at the LHC (such as the near-side ridge, jet analysis with CASTOR, …).
