Bridging cultures: cultural and commercial networks in the Strait of Sicily, VI-II centuries BC

This project aims at the reconstruction of the commercial and cultural interaction across the Strait of Sicily between the VI and II centuries BC. By using the framework and vocabulary of ‘network theory’, I will analyse the archaeological evidences from selected sites of different cultural background, dimension and importance to the purpose of a general synthesis on a meso-regional level.
